The Crown XFMR-4 is a four-channel output transformer accessory that converts low-impedance amplifier outputs to 70V or 100V constant-voltage operation. It is what lets a standard low-impedance amplifier feed a distributed speaker line — the practical retrofit when a system grows into 70V territory but the amplifier already in the rack does not support it directly.
