The MC-RX2 is the fully-featured decoder in the MaxColor series — 4K60 video over IP with KVM, Audio Return Channel, and a fiber port. The fiber option is the reason to specify it over the RX1: copper runs cap out around 100 m, and a fiber link takes the same signal across a campus or between buildings without repeaters.
