The UL-709P2P is a 4K Ultra Series encoder supplied as a point-to-point kit with a PoE injector. Point-to-point is the simple case for HD-over-IP — one source, one display, no network switch to configure — which makes it the right choice for a single long run where a matrix system would be overkill but HDMI cable won't reach.
