Set up a Silarius 4G camera in the CamHi Pro app
Insert a SIM card, then add the camera to CamHi Pro and watch it on your phone.
Applies to: Silarius 4G (SIM card) cameras that use the CamHi Pro app
- Install CamHi Pro
Scan the QR code in the manual to download the app named CAMHIPRO (Android or iOS).
- Insert a SIM card
Put a SIM card with internet access into the camera.
- Check the connection
The camera makes a Wi-Fi hotspot named MIFI_XXXX (default password 1234567890). Connect to it to check that the internet works and the camera is in 4G mode.
- Start adding the camera
Power on the camera, open CamHi Pro, tap + Add Camera and choose IP Camera.
- Find the camera
Choose Device in Use, then Search Nearby Devices, and select the camera's UID.
- Watch live
When the camera shows online, tap it to watch.
- Change the password
In the camera settings, change the device password (default: admin).
- Prepare the memory card
If you use a TF/SD card, format it in the settings the first time you insert it, and set SD card recording.
