Do I need to replace my cameras?
No. Silarius Cloud is ONVIF-based, so you can use your own existing cameras, any model. Existing IP cameras and NVRs connect through the Silarius Gateway. New Silarius X cameras connect straight to the cloud with no gateway at all.
How long can video be kept?
Retention is set per camera, from a few days up to a year on standard plans, and custom plans keep video for up to 3 years.
What video quality is recorded?
Plans come in three recording-quality tiers, from 720p for light use up to full 4K, so you only pay for the quality each camera needs.
How much does Silarius Cloud cost?
Cloud storage starts from $6.99 per camera per month. Your price depends on the recording quality and retention you choose for each camera and how many sites you run, so we send an exact quote, usually the same business day.
Do I need to open ports or change my firewall?
No. Cameras and gateways connect out to the cloud over an encrypted tunnel, so there is no port forwarding and no inbound firewall rule.
Where is my video stored?
On Amazon Web Services infrastructure, with video sent over encrypted connections. Enterprise customers can also deploy the platform on their own private cloud.
Which devices can I watch on?
Any modern web browser, plus iOS and Android apps, with no VPN required.
