Log in to your NVR from a web browser
Reach the NVR's web page from a computer on the same network to watch, play back and change settings.
Applies to: Silarius NVRs running the NVR 5.0 interface
- Check the network
Make sure the NVR is connected and your computer is on the same network. The NVR's factory IP address is 192.168.1.88.
- Test the connection
On the computer, ping the NVR's IP address to check it answers.
- Open the login page
In the browser, type the NVR's IP address. If you changed the HTTP port from 80, type it as http://IP:port, for example http://192.168.1.88:96.
- Log in
Choose the language, enter the user name and password (factory: admin / 12345) and click Login.
- Install the plug-in
The first time, click the link to download the browser plug-in, close the browser, and install it.
- Change a weak password
If asked, click Modify, enter and confirm a new password, set the security questions, export the key, and click OK.
