Log in to a Silarius managed switch
Open the switch's web page, change the admin password, and save your settings.
Applies to: Silarius managed switches SIL-B16M3POE1G300, SIL-B24M3POE1G400, SIL-B48M3POE1G500
- Connect your computer
Connect your computer to the switch. The switch's factory IP address is 192.168.1.200 (mask 255.255.255.0), so give your computer an address on that network, for example 192.168.1.100.
- Open the web page
Open a web browser and go to 192.168.1.200. The web page (HTTP) is on by default.
- Log in
Log in with the default user name admin and password admin.
- Change the admin password
Go to Management > User Account, select admin, click Edit, enter and confirm a new password, and click Apply.
- Set the switch's IP address (optional)
Go to Network > IP Address and choose Static (enter IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS) or Dynamic (DHCP).
- Save your settings
Go to Management > Configuration > Save Configuration, choose Running Configuration as the source and Startup Configuration as the destination, and click Apply.
