Watch your cameras on a PC or Mac (iVMS320)
Install the free iVMS320 software, add your Silarius NVRs and cameras, then watch live video and play back recordings.
Applies to: Silarius IP cameras and NVRs (Windows PCs and Macs).
- Pick the right installer
Download iVMS320 for Windows, for a Mac with Apple silicon, or for a Mac with Intel (links below). On a Mac, Apple menu → About This Mac shows which chip it has.
- Install the software
Windows: run the setup file, click Next through the steps, then Install and Finish. Mac: open the .dmg file, double-click the setup script, click Continue, then Close.
- Create the super user
The first time you open the program, enter a user name and password (twice) and click Add. Use a strong password.
- Open Device Management
Click Device Management in the left menu.
- Add a device found on your network
In the Online Devices list, tick the device and click Add to. Enter its user name and password, click the next-step button to verify, then click Add.
- Or add a device by hand
Click Add and enter the device's IP address, port, channel count and protocol, or its serial number. Verify, then click Add.
- Watch live video
Click Live and drag a camera channel from the list onto a play window.
- Find recordings
Click Remote Playback, drag a channel onto a window, choose the video type (all, normal or alarm) and the date, and click search. Green bars are normal recording, red are alarm recording.
- Play and export
Click on the timeline to start playback. To save a clip, turn on time selection mode, select the time period and click Export.
