Pause, turn back on or delete an alert
Stop an alert for a few hours, for good, or remove it completely.
By the end you will know how to pause an alert for a while, turn it back on, or delete it.
What you need
- Access to Silarius Cloud Admin
Deleting can't be undone, and there's no "Are you sure?" box. Pause instead if you might want the alert back.
Step by step
- Open the alert
In Silarius Cloud Admin, open the Alerts tab. Click the name of the alert. Its settings open.
- Pause it
Click the Disable tab. Pick how long from the list, from 3 hours up to a day, or pick permanent. Click Disable.
- Turn it back on
Timed pauses end by themselves. To turn it on sooner, or after a permanent pause, open the alert, go to Disable, and click Enable at the bottom.
- Delete it
Open the alert and click the Delete tab. Click Delete.
Pause or delete?
- Pause (disable): stops the messages but keeps the alert. You can turn it back on later without setting it up again.
- Delete: removes the alert forever.
