Turn on two-factor sign-in
Add a 6-digit phone code to your sign-in for extra safety.
By the end your account will ask for a 6-digit code from your phone each time you sign in. Even if someone learns your password, they can't get in without your phone.
What you need
- Your phone
- An authenticator app (a free app that makes sign-in codes)
- Your Silarius Cloud Admin sign-in
Step by step
- Open your profile
In Silarius Cloud Admin, click the menu next to your account name (or the settings icon next to it), then Profile.
- Start setup
Open the Multi-factor Authentication tab and click Enable. You will see a list of authenticator apps you can use.
- Install an app
Install one of those apps on your phone from the App Store or Google Play.
- Scan the code
Open the app and scan the QR code (the square barcode) on your screen. The app now shows a 6-digit code.
- Type the code and finish
Type the 6-digit code into the code box. Click Enable again. You're done.
Good to know
- Keep your phone handy when you sign in. The code changes every so often, so type the one you see right now.
