Where your video is stored
Learn where Silarius Cloud keeps your video and what to do if your data must stay in one country.
By the end you will know where your video is stored. You will also know what to do if rules say your data must stay in a certain place.
The default location
Silarius Cloud runs on a major cloud data center provider. By default, video is stored in the provider's US East region. That is true even for customers outside the United States.
The provider has data centers around the world, so you can watch your video from anywhere.

Does my data move around?
No. Your data stays on the cloud provider's servers. It is not moved from one physical place to another.
My data must stay in my country
Some projects have rules about where video must be stored. Don't assume your video will be stored in your own country.
A separate region or private setup may be possible. It is usually only practical for very large projects, often around 10,000 cameras or more. Things looked at include camera count, timeline, legal rules and long-term growth.
