Sign in with your company account (single sign-on)
Let your team sign in to Silarius Cloud with the same account they use for work.
By the end you will know how your team can sign in to Silarius Cloud with their work account. This is called single sign-on, or SSO. People sign in once at work and do not need another password.
What you need
- Your company already uses a sign-in system that supports SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect
- Your IT person, to set up your side
Step by step
- Ask Silarius to start
Contact Silarius support. Single sign-on needs your own web address for Silarius Cloud first. Silarius sets that up for you. It can take up to 1 business day: email us.
- Set up your sign-in system
Your IT person allows your Silarius Cloud web address in your company's sign-in system.
- Send the details
Your IT person sends Silarius the details from your sign-in system, like its address and its security certificate. Silarius fills them in on the Single Sign-On tab in Silarius Cloud Admin.
- Test it
Have one person try to sign in with their work account before everyone switches over.
Which kinds are supported?
- SAML 2.0, the most common kind for company sign-in.
- OpenID Connect.
You can also keep normal passwords and turn on two-factor sign-in instead.
