The web app isn't working right
Fix a web app that crashes, looks broken or acts strange, and know what to send support.
By the end you will know a quick test that fixes most odd web app problems. You will also know what to tell support if it doesn't.
What you need
- A computer with a modern web browser
Step by step
- Open a private window
Press Ctrl + Shift + N. Or open your browser's menu and pick the option for a new private (incognito) window. Most browsers turn add-ons off in private windows.
- Sign in there
Go to silariussecurity.com/login and click Log in to Silarius Cloud. Sign in with your username and password.
- Try again
Do the same thing that went wrong before. If it works now, an add-on is likely the cause. Turn your add-ons off one at a time to find it.
- Still broken? Contact support
If it still goes wrong, contact Silarius support: get free remote setup help or email us. Send as many of the details below as you can.
Why it happens
Browser add-ons (small extra tools added to your web browser, also called extensions) can upset the web app. You might see lines out of place, or the web app might crash.
What to send support
- Your browser and its version.
- Your computer's system and version, for example the name and number of its operating system.
- What you were doing when it went wrong.
- Each click before the problem. For example: "I clicked Cameras, scrolled down, clicked the three dots, and it crashed."
- A screenshot (a picture of your screen) that shows the error.
Still stuck? We'll do it with you, free.
