Get started with the Silarius Cloud mobile app
Install the mobile app, sign in, and watch events, cameras, clips and layouts on your phone or tablet.
By the end you will have the Silarius Cloud mobile app on your phone or tablet. You will watch live and recorded video, check events, open your clips and layouts, and share cameras.
What you need
- A phone or tablet (Apple or Android)
- Your Silarius Cloud username and password
Step by step
- Get the app
Go to our sign-in page: Sign in. Follow the link there to get the Silarius Cloud mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. It works on phones and tablets.
- Sign in
Open the app. Type the same username and password you use for the web app. Tap to sign in.
- Find the bottom menu
The app opens on Events. At the bottom are four tabs: Events, Cameras, Library and Layout.
- Check events
Tap an event picture. It plays at the top of the screen. Tap Filter to show only some events. Pick a camera, an object type and a color.
- Watch a camera
Tap Cameras. Use the Active tab for online cameras and OFFLINE for cameras that are not sending video. Tap a camera to open it.
- Go back in time
Hold your phone upright. You see the timeline with small pictures under the video. Slide it to go back in time. Turn the phone sideways for full screen. Auto-rotate must be on.
- Use the camera tools
Tap the video once. A tool menu opens. You can resize the picture, pause or play, use PTZ, or turn the sound on or off.
- Open clips and layouts
Tap Library to see your saved clips and timelapses. Tap Layout to see many cameras on one screen, using your saved layouts.
Share from your phone
- Share cameras: on the Cameras tab, press and hold a camera. This starts select mode. Tap up to 5 cameras to share with one link. You can share with or without a password.
- Share a clip: on the Library tab, tap the three dots at the top right of the clip. Pick the share option.

Some things are made in the web app
Clips and layouts can only be made in the web app on a computer. Once made, they show in the mobile app too. See Build and save a layout and Save, find and download video clips.
Good to know
- Each user only sees the cameras their role allows, the same as in the web app.
Common questions
Does it work on a tablet?
Yes. It works on Apple and Android phones and tablets.
Do I need a new password for the app?
No. Use the same username and password as the web app.
